To work with us you must have experience in providing a professional care service to the elderly, whether in their own homes or a care facility. Having an excellent understanding of promoting privacy and dignity whilst delivery the best quality of services. You must have good communication skills and the ability to understand your roles, be flexible, reliable, and passionate care worker. You must have the ability to work with your initiative and to Work as part of a staff team providing and coordinates personalised care and resources. You must have the ability to deal with physically and emotionally demanding clients and to be able to positively support clients to maintain, recuperate and improve social abilities needed to positively improve their daily living. You must have experience of shifts including days, nights, sleep overs, twilights and living- in. You must be able to organise time and resources based on the individual needs of clients. Awareness of all significant legislation, policies and practices. You have to be physically fit and able to lift and assist clients adequately. You have to be empathetic and understanding as well as having cultural awareness. Experience of working in an independent living accommodation, nursing homes, residential care homes, children’s facilities, hospices and rehab centres or other care facilities.

Roles
Your roles will include:
Providing care to clients in their own homes or in the care facility. Supporting clients with, personal hygiene, dressing, meals, and get them ready for their day. Assisting with prescribed medication. Organising and assisting with useful activities.
Supporting clients and accompanying them to appointments and activities. Communicating with other healthcare professionals such as District Nurses and GPs. Maintaining confidential client’s files preparing reports and information as required.
