Almond Blossom Care Aims:

To support people in need of care, to live as safely and comfortably as possible in their own homes. We will do this by actively encouraging the independence, dignity, privacy, choice and wellbeing of all the people we support.  Our principal belief is one of delivering a continual high-quality person-centered service and developing relationships that actively encourage the people we support wellbeing. We aim to achieve and maintain this. The people we support need to be sure and confident that Almond Blossom Care is a responsible and well-structured Care at Home Service Provider, with a professional management and staff team, whose knowledge, skills and attitudes are recognised, motivated, encouraged, developed and rewarded to provide high quality level of care for all the people we support. We aim to exceed any minimum standards and achieve significant levels of care service satisfaction.

Objectives

Within these values and acknowledged aims, we look to accomplish the following objectives:

To meet the assessed needs of each person we support based on efficient and ongoing person-centered planning of care for each person we support completed together with their families (where possible), service manager and other health care professionals.

To promote the independence and quality of life to the people we support through the provision of a professional, reliable and consistent care service.

To ensure that the service is delivered flexibly and in a nondiscriminatory manner, respecting each person’s right to independence, privacy, dignity, fulfilment, and their right to make informed choices based on risk assessments.

To ensure that their individuals’ needs and values are respected in relation to their religion, culture, race or ethnic origin, sexuality and sexual orientation, political affiliation, marital status, parenthood and disabilities or impairments.

To ensure that the care service we provide in total, is delivered in accordance with agreed purchasing contracts or individual “Person Centered” care agreements.

To manage and implement a formal programme of staff planning, selection, recruitment, training, retention and personal development to enable the care needs of the people we support to be met and in line with “Best Practice”, issued guidance and Almond Blossom Cares’ business philosophy.

To manage the care service efficiently and effectively to make best use of resources and to maximise value for money for the people supported by us.

To match the nominated support worker as closely as possible and to respect the need to change the support worker in the event of subsequent incompatibility.

We will continuously monitor our policies, procedures and practices so we are constantly improving the quality of the care we offer. We welcome all feedback from the people we support, their friends and relatives and our legislative bodies. We promise to listen to what people we support have to say and will encourage them to be heard through their own mediums.

We provide minimum of 2hours to 24 hours, 7days a week 365 day a year of Support Service/ Care at Home. We will provide the people we support with high quality support services in the comfort of their own homes and in the wider community.
